Did you know that the United Nations has declared that 2022-2032 will be the decade of Indigenous languages? As many as 6700 languages are spoken globally, and as many as 2680 are endangered indigenous languages. That means that that we are losing a language globally every two weeks. There are 370 million Indigenous people in the world and 5000 different Indigenous cultures.
We have been creating language resources for our children and we thought that we would give you a reminder of what we have available.
If you are interested in any of the resources to hand out to children and young people or if you have an idea of a resource that you would like created please let us know.
To request language resources you can talk to your Case Manager or send us a message.
